Stakeholder meeting about ADP
Below is an email from the City of Arcata to attend stakeholder meetings for the use of the Little Lake Property, that coveted site where we hope to be able to create the Arcata Dog Park which we have been advocating for 4 years! You might be interested in attending, and if so, here’s info about the first meeting, followed by the announcement:
"Thank you all again for taking your valuable time to assist our community. We have scheduled our meeting for Monday, October 30, 2017, at 3-4 pm (see the attached meeting notice). This was the best time based on the greatest number of members available. We still encourage everyone to participate by providing me comments. We are preparing draft selection criteria and will provide them to you before the meeting. We are also preparing data on potential sites for assessment.
There is no limit to the number of advisory members so if you know of anyone that may have an interest in this process, please let me know.
Advisory group members include community members associated with: Baykeepers, Wiyot Tribe, Friends of the Arcata Marsh, local Real Estate businesses, Arcata Dog Park interest group, Arcata Parks and Recreation Committee, and the Arcata Economic Development Committee.
Again, we very much appreciate your input.
